The space is pleasant... but the prices are way above average for the quality it presents.
My husband and I went for breakfast at Cantinho da Luisa in Estoril today. We were served 2 orange juices. I was almost finished when I realized that my juice had maggots in it. Yes, LARVAE, in the plural. And of course my husband's was too! We informed them and the person who helped us said: “Ah, it’s orange. Do you want it to strain or make another one.” ? No apology, nothing. Some time later, she arrives with 2 other juices. My husband accepts it and I don't, after all, I had already taken almost everything - which, if I had seen the larvae, I wouldn't have taken, obviously. Afterwards, she offered me just the rest of the glass, and I continued to deny it. To my surprise, in the end, we were charged for both juices. Disrespectful. He said he wouldn't pay. My husband, not to argue, paid. And the attendant continued with the argument that it was orange. ? I would like to know if she usually drinks orange juice with maggots in it. I bet not. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo. They lost a client. Or many.

In general, Cantinho da Luísa is very good. Mainly at the Vila market where we normally eat.
However, today we were served two glasses of orange juice with maggots. Unfortunately, when we informed the cafe staff, they offered us to strain the juice, which we obviously did not accept. Like straining the juice would change the fact that larvae were swimming in it 30 seconds ago.
We were offered new juices. I accepted and my wife didn't. I ended up not drinking it because it seemed to be strained, as it didn't have any pulp or segments, and the taste wasn't the best.
Even so, they charged us for both juices, saying: “The animals are from orange.”
As if all the juices we drink in life were made up of oranges and larvae…

I was at the mercado of Cascais and ordered here a cappuccino that I paid 3,20€ - I was shocked! In a specialty coffee bar it costs less.
Cup of coffee with cold milk
Great cafe with fresh bread. A lot of sweets. Excellent coffee and cappuccino. Cookies, sweets and pastries, large assortment. Seats and tables inside and outside.

A real favorite here in Portugal! Has most of it! Don't know if they have beer ?
We ate very well, the food was delicious and the service was fast and exceptionally friendly. The Portuguese bitoque is finger-licking good with that salt and the homemade fries. The chia bread is one of the best I've ever eaten. The mil folhas is my favorite cake

Ask the value of each item beforehand, ask for the invoice and be alert to the "look, there's 1 euro missing from the coffee" after you've paid and don't have the invoice at hand.
And 4.50 on a "thin, small glass" of orange juice. ?

Délicieux
We stayed in Estoril for a week and had breakfast here every day. We absolutely loved the coffee! The omelette was quite good too. We tried as many pastries as we could, and enjoyed almost all of them. My favourite was chocolate croissant. The staff was super nice, the man (didn’t get his name) was particularly helpful. He spoke excellent English and told us all about the pastries! Overall, it’s an amazing place, definitely worth checking out!
