Expectations were high for the reviews with the highest marks, perhaps the regular customers, because they are received warmly and with a different level of attention than those who come for the first time. Regardless of the reservation, we had to wait, because even though it was 2:30 pm the house was full. We ordered a portion and a half of stew for 3, it was too much! 1 dose arrived perfectly. The rest came home and still served 2 people. It was fine, nothing extraordinary....
The Paparoca Saloia Restaurant is located in Galicia, a village next to Estoril and is distinguished by its rustic decor and the good preparation of traditional Portuguese cuisine. On my visit we started with Bread, Olives and Dry Cheese, for the main course I ordered the Galo de Cabidela, a dish made to order, very consistent and tasty with just enough vinegar. I accompanied the meal with house red wine and finished with a tasty and homemade Curd Tart. Meal around €18 per person.
