Perfect traditional Portuguese restaurant!! The best experience to taste meat and cod fresh from Lisbon. I ate the famous “meat on a stone” where you can make a steak on a hot stone and enjoy the excellent meat quality combined with the opportunity to make the meat to your liking. The restaurant is small and doesn’t accept reservations so I recommend showing up early and wait until you are called. Really recommend it, specially if you want to experience the true traditional Portuguese cuisine and ambient!

The food wasn’t actually too bad, but they didn’t say that the ham, cheese, butter, bread put on the table as a welcome food was to pay. Especially the cheese was very expensive. I would not recommend because it’s pretty much a scam eating there. Plus you can only pay with cash

I have visited this restaurant with my family during a visit in Lisbon. The place is simple and tipical and you can have fish or meat dishes. We have selected both experiencing the codfish with vegetables, grilled salmon and the picana. Childs got crazy entertaining in cooking in the stone their steaks. Codfish and salmon were simply delicious. To be suggested!

We loved the concept of cooking your own piece of meat on a hot stone, but the steak wasn't the greatest quality. If it had been a better cut of meat, it would have tasted a lot better.

The steak was really nice which is what I came to the restaurant for so can’t complain with that. Would have been good if I could have seasoned it with some pepper but only salt available. Chips were definitely the worst I’ve had in a while. Main gripe and SCAM of the place, bread, olives, ham & cheese put on the table at the start which seemed like it was complimentary (as didn’t ask for them) but then come the bill, it was easily €16 added to the bill. Owners can hardly speak a word of English so didn’t bother mentioning it. Just left no tip.

Back to one of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon since Covid started ! It has the same food quality, one of the best “bacalhau à brás” in the town (not my opinion because I don’t like cod fish but everyone that I take there loves it! The “naco da pedra” is the reason that I go there ? It’s a great and genuine Portuguese “tasca” in a tourist place that is also one of the highlights of the Lisbon nightlife spots. The downsides are that’s a small place with limited seats and always with a lot off ppl ? PS: usually there’s a lot of smoke in the air eheh
