the quality of food is poor, the taste was not good as well. I would say that for that price the portions are small so I will not recommend this place and won’t attend it further.
maybe tapas here are good because other guests were ordering those only

Went to take a look based on a review. Looks like a small converted canteen for the 'atmosphere' part. Excellent fresh and simple food, pannacota with red fruits and port was delicious.

We liked going to local places and Tapearia is just that, located in a neighbourhood with clearly a local clientele
The food was quite good, started with bread and some great flavoured olives and then we dove into our tapas dishes
Both the presentation and the taste were above our expectations, for example the chorizo sausage served flambe was crispy and tasty, the potatoes got the extra elevation by their presentation etc.
They’re also quite generous when it comes to the size of the glass of wine they pour
We were thinking about leaving and getting pudding on a local bakery when we’ve seen someone get a lemon cake in a jar like container, decided to take that as well and it was great
For me this is the type of a gem of a place I like visiting when traveling - I recommend visiting

We successfully had lunch at 3 p.m. Which, as we know, is problematic in Portugal at a time like this. Commendable vegetable soup and tomato soup with egg. Tender beef cheeks with vegetables and salad. I recommend!

Really enjoyed this restaurant.. we ate here twice! Staff are very friendly, some quality wines on the menu. We are vegetarians and we’re well catered for with the tapas and main menu. The Goats Cheese salad with dried fruits and herbs is really exceptional. We felt it offered good value for the top quality produce it served.

The burger was very bad, the meat was of poor quality and overcooked, the fried egg was black underneath and the bread must have been over a week old despite being toasted... Too expensive for the poor quality of the cook who still responded that the customer's taste was not suitable for overcooked food....I don't recommend it to anyone ?
