Excellent atmosphere, good service and excellent food.
The only negative point is that the tables were too close together, leading to little privacy.

We went back there after 1 year and the quality of the dishes dropped a lot, making it an expensive restaurant that just served “ok” food.

From the outside villa Saboia looks like an unassuming tiny bar. When you walk in however, you walk up a beautiful wooden staircase into the main restaurant rooms on the first floor. The interior was quite elegant and peaceful, with lots of light coming through. The food was also delicious. We had a hamburger, a salmon burger, and the prawn risotto. The burgers were perfectly cooked (if you are a fan of medium rare, otherwise maybe ask for it being cooked well done) The risotto had a lot of flavour and a good amount of prawns. We also had the red fruits sangria, which was sweet and refreshingly cold. The servers were really attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back here for the good food and calming atmosphere.

Wonderful hidden gem tucked away in a quiet Cascais neighborhood. The upstairs dining area is beautiful and gives the impression it was once a home. The food was fantastic, our group ordered several rounds of sushi and each plate was beautiful and delicious. We had such a great time we came back twice during our week in Cascais. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Today I ordered a tuna tataki through Uber, a photo of which I am attaching and it was a real disappointment, considering the €16 charged.

I had some friends over for dinner and I wanted to choose a restaurant that was elegant, had good service and a varied menu.
We were served by the friendly António Neto, who was super helpful and attentive.

This is my favorite sushi place in the world. They also have Mediterranean cooked food that is great. The service is amazing, the ambiance is charming, makes you want to live there. We go here twice within a week each time we visit Cascais. The walk up the hill is short and beautiful through a small park. It’s a nice change over the walk along the boardwalk to town. Highly recommend you do not skip Villa Sabóia on your visit to Cascais
