“If I were to write this description not days later, I would say that this is our best gastronomic experience in Madeira, but we found a better place that is even more secluded, but this diminishes the merits of Mad Coffee. The servers speak English well. It is also worth trying your sandwiches because they look very good. But their hanging skewers are also excellent. Although I would like to add that this dish is grilled beef, in other words, it is not a gastronomic miracle. We also ate a local "small stew". It's like canteen food for me. Delicious, delicious, but nothing extra. However, the atmosphere of the place is very good and worth going up the mountain.“

“This small restaurant is a stone's throw from the natural swimming pools. There is a small car park to park (5€ for the day)
The terrace has a view of the sea however we had a lot of wind and preferred to be on the covered terrace. The service was perfect and we were even able to speak French with the waiter. He gave good advice and was very cheerful. The skewer was really excellent.“
