Simply the best food we ate in Madeira(espada do chef and espada madeirense).Apart from the amazing cuisine, the portions were very generous, and the prices very good, making for an optimal value-for-money relationship.Wonderful service on a non-smoking balcony with distant sea view.If we had discovered it earlier in our vacation, I think we would have eaten there every day.Parking: Parking is free, 4-5 cars fit in the parking lot, the rest parked on the side of the road.

Josef, the owner of our local bar, recommended this restaurant, so we went there for lunch today.And it didn't disappoint. Delicious calamari and garlic prawns to start, followed by a traditional Madeira espetada, skewered beef hung up vertically.And then, much to our surprise, along comes a small robot to take away the dishes. Apparently, she can also sing happy birthday!All in all, an amazing restaurant.
