If I were to write this description not days later, I would say that this is our best gastronomic experience in Madeira, but we found a better place that is even more secluded, but this diminishes the merits of Mad Coffee. The servers speak English well. It is also worth trying your sandwiches because they look very good. But their hanging skewers are also excellent. Great family run café on the heights of Calhueta. Spotless facilities, good food, excellent service and great value for money. The house salad is delicious. They also sell bread and cakes to takeaway. Definitely one for the address book, we'll be back!
Very friendly and courteous staff, cheap barista café that you can drink well. The pateis de nata was delicious. The guys speak great English! We felt very comfortable and even came here twice!
