Unannounced stop in this typical esteito de Calheta restaurant. Inside, only locals and an atmosphere livened up by karaoke! Total immersion in the island of Madeira, far from tourists! Regarding the meal, it was a nice surprise. The dishes are no frills, the portions are generous, everything was of good quality. Finally, to finish, the bill has finally convinced us...
Very good food, we ate there three times within 14 days. Grilled squid, grilled steak, grilled skewers, all ingredients freshly prepared. SANGRIA whether red or rose or white everything was tasty. Price performance ratio was good, I can only recommend it.

I stopped in for a quick dinner on the way home.I was greeted by a beautiful and very warm lady behind the bar.Despite the late hour, I received delicious shrimps in an excellent sauce - a very large portion! And the local bolo de caco.The decor is not entirely consistent and the music is not inviting, so I don't recommend this place for a date, but I definitely recommend it for a meal.I also recommend the orange and cocoa cake, it tastes like grandma's ❤️
