Dinner in a traditional Portuguese restaurant.
During our trip we tried many espaditas, but this one was definitely among the best, and the pork one in particular was my absolute favorite.
The pork espaditas was flavorful, tasty, soft and well roasted, really special.
Super recommended.

It's unbelievable that these days a restaurant doesn't have a vegetarian option. Not an egg, an omelet? I recommend the Santo António Restaurant, much better (and they make egg sandwiches for those who don't eat meat).

Very typical Madeiran restaurant, where many locals usually go, with excellent Traditional and Chicken Espetada / Bolo do Caco / Passion Fruit Pudding!

Restaurant with a rustic and traditional atmosphere.
The kebab is no longer on a bay stick, but on an iron skewer. Food well seasoned, but some pieces of meat had fat. Fried corn to accompany.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Madeira. They specialize in barbecue and cook it simply excellent. I won’t lie if I say that this is the best kebab I’ve ever eaten in my life.
Be sure to take it on laurel branches!
The fillet, the original, and the ribs will be delicious. Even the pork one is wonderful.
Wash it down with ponche, but be careful - it's quite strong here.
