We went on a recommendation and I was surprised at how expensive it is for the quality of the dishes.
There are better restaurants in Estremoz where quality and price are worth it.
Parking: It is difficult to park near the restaurant but parking is free.

Scammers, simply. Don't even think about stopping for a drink if you don't want to be robbed. €11.20 for 4 straws that are drunk in two sips. They must believe that they are in Norway and not in Portugal.

We came for lunch based on all the great reviews. It was even better than we expected. We had no reservation but were warmly welcomed by the staff and seated right away. The bread was excellent. Two of us are vegetarian and they made us an absolutely delicious shitake mushroom risotto. The other two in our group had the seafood paella and were equally delighted with their food and said it was the best paella they have ever eaten. The passion fruit cheesecake was divine. We will absolutely be returning to this restaurant the next time we are in the area.
Vegetarian options: Although this restaurant specializes in meat dishes, they were happy to prepare for us a really special mushroom risotto. It's as good as any you would find in a highly rated vegetarian restaurant.

Food was simply ok. You can buy what I had in Tesco's in UK for about 10% of the price. Overall during our stay in Portugal was the worst evening meal we had in over 10 days. Only thing good was the passion fruit cheesecake. Very overpriced for what you get.
It's worth coming from Lisbon just to have lunch here. Being unfair to the other dishes that are also very good, the Oxtail Rice is well worth the 180 km.
