It's worth the trip (for those who aren't from the area) and the time-consuming experience because, in addition to the excellent gastronomic and oenological offerings that are very present with a contemporary Alentejo matrix, the friendliness, brio and joy with which we are received and treated is unforgettable. A very special thank you to Chef Michelle and Chef Rúben for everything. I also recommend visiting and/or staying at Casa Gafanha, the newest brother in the group ??

Chef Michelle runs a very professional kitchen, which is visible from the dining room. Fantastic reductions, new tastes, amazing choice of wines, friendly staff.

We had a perfect dinner here. The most warm service and care-taking one could ask for. The food was excellent, down-to-earth but still fine and exquisite. This place absolutely deserves the praise it has gotten! Also brilliant wine recommendations.

Very good food (we tried Casa de Gadahna last year, which was also very good).
Excellent cold soup as a starter then grilled octopus and cod and ham millefeuille (to share). Nothing to say: succulent!

Good service and customer attention. The outdoor space is pleasant and spacious.
Differentiated and not very extensive menu, with a good description of the dishes to help you choose and a great wine list.
For starters we ordered the pica pau, which was one of the best we've ever eaten and for the main course the duck rice, which despite being different from the traditional recipe, turned out to be a pleasant and tasty experience.
For dessert we chose the 1000 sheets of white chocolate and red fruits which was divine.

Exceptional!
For starters we ate the lamb croquettes which were divine. Just like the 2 main dishes that followed: creamy duck rice and black pork tusks with crumbs. For desserts, the apple with pennyroyal and cinnamon (really incredible) was the winning choice and the chocolate and hazelnut Harmony didn't disappoint either. We loved it and want to go back!!
