We loved this restaurant, we had a very good experience. You have to walk a bit from the center, but it's easy to get to.
It is a very spacious place, with a covered dining room with a terrace where there would be at least 50 tables. The day we had dinner here it was packed.
We ordered some clams to share, spectacular (both for the flavor and the size of the portion), and then a dish for each of us: grilled lizard with fries and spinach, very delicious, and grilled salmon accompanied by rice white, a huge portion and quality product. The beer, well served and very cold. We ate very, very well.
We paid €28 per person, great value for money. Good service and better atmosphere: it was all local people, something that is always a guarantee. Recommended if you want to eat tasty things and in good quantities. ?

Well, first of all I say that I'm from Évora and it's not the first time I've been to this restaurant, and this review is basically for the owner who has to understand, one of the two is either increase the capacity inside the kitchen or reduce the number of seats in restaurants, if we want to be coherent and reasonable, they are providing a service and as such there have to be basic limits, i.e. the last 3 times I chose to go with family and friends the waiting time was completely absurd, no matter how much I want to be tolerant is not possible, the last one was last Sunday, we sat down for lunch at 1:05 pm, they collected the order at 1:20 pm or so and we started having lunch at 2:50 pm, my uncle and I were the last to be served, my uncle a bit of veal and I fried cuttlefish there were no dishes that took too long despite being aware that everything is made fresh but ??? Then the coffees for another 15 minutes because they are also taken on the spot ☺️ in other words, something is not right, the employee is a very friendly girl but just friendly is not enough, I place the responsibility on management, detailing the situation well, the kitchen does not have the capacity to assist the number of existing places about the quality of the dishes, very well served above average tasting, normal quiet environment air conditioning is fine now all this cannot cover the waiting time was too much more than 1 hour and a half so consider this a constructive criticism to improve and If they maintain the other levels I will give 5 stars.
