Parking: There is paid parking around. But you don't pay on Sundays. You can find free parking nearby too.

We were fortunate to find this restaurant while in Évora. Off the beaten track, at first we didn’t know what to expect. Once we went in we were taken by the authentic feel of a traditional Portuguese restaurant. The owner, Luis, although he spoke no English greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. He used Google translator to describe each dish to make sure that we knew exactly what the choices were. My wife and I ordered from the daily special menu and everything was delicious. We each had a different pork dish prepared perfectly. At the end of the meal Luis offered us local liquor. It was a very gracious touch. When in Evora make sure to search this out, you won’t be disappointed.

A real Portuguese food experience! The food was typical and 100% homemade. The waiter was super kind and friendly. We ordered cod with cream and crumbs. Everything was delicious and had a very special flavor. We also tried the typical dessert. It tasted like almonds and was also homemade and very good. I recommend it!

Best restaurant to eat in Évora.House of traditional Alentejo food, but the real thing, homemade and very well prepared. Small space, on a non-main street, but this is even an advantage for the experience, because we can feel the truth and tradition. Senhor Luís is a gem of a person and we were lucky to be able to spend a lot of time with him, which enriched our visit to Évora. The food was really good, as were the wines we tried.
