Very tasty bifana and light and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very laid back (I can understand that someone can find them even too laid back from some of the past comments), but I found them very friendly and helpful.

We went specifically to try the bifana... we got it, we loved it!! Bread was incredible but the pork.. exquisite!!! Simple, no frills, authentic and great value. 2 bifanas and 2 drinks 7,20 euros. It's easy to miss as has no tables outside.

An excellent spot for some high-quality, low-price food and drinks! The bifanas are extremely reasonably priced, especially compared to Lisbon. All of our food was top-notch! And the staff was very friendly, too. Would definitely return if ever in Evora again.

We chose the restaurant because it was advertised in the guidebook. The prices are okay, but that's about it. Dilapidated interior, four glasses were dirty and the toilet was dirty and without towels. Meanwhile, the three-person waitress relaxed. There was no question as to whether anything else was wanted or whether the food was OK. We never give a negative rating here, it's better not to give it at all, but this time for other interested parties we're posting as a warning and as a well-founded recommendation to go to another restaurant.

All bad! When we arrived they gave us a menu in English, we had to ask for one in Portuguese because there were some words that we didn't understand, then we placed the order, it took about half an hour for them to give us 2 bifanas, 1 bitoque and a plate of fries, which They came cold, then we asked for sauces, they said they only had mayonnaise, and that we paid €0.10 for each package, we asked for 2, the waiter forgot, we had to eat without sauces, finally when asking for the bill, we had to do it several times because the employee was watching a game on the TV in the living room the entire time. We went to pay, a bitoque, two steaks and a plate of potatoes, €22. Very bad.

The dishes are very well served. Every time I visit Évora I eat there. The desserts are delicious and the Bifanas bread is not dry like other places.
