We had a 1.5 hour wait before our next bus left town and needed a place to eat ans wait. We stumbled on this place and couldn't be happier. The service was amazing (can't remember the woman server's name). She sat us right away and took our order almost immediately. We had the chicken and fries plate (comes with salad, egg and fries too), chicken and bean soup as well. We topped it off with the cookie crumble cream pie. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Our group of six all had the same experience. Highly recommend this small hole-in-the-wall with a local feel establishment!

Great shop for a few cartridges of Superbock at lunchtime. The bus drivers from the opposite stop also come by for a few quick beers before starting their journey and then drunkenly drive the buses towards Lisbon. That's how it should be.
A bitoque was ordered...served was bifana on the plate. Explanation given by the employee..."in Alentejo the bitoques are always pork". Regardless of whether it is true and as many visitors are not from Alentejo, it doesn't hurt to write "bifana on the plate" on the menu as that was exactly what we received.My fries ended up on another table by mistake and then placed on my table... besides being almost raw, soaked in oil and I still had to wait some time to receive my bifana - something that should have happened at the same time - no I know if someone at the other table got their hands on them. I didn't eat them and in the end the employee cleared the table and didn't even bother to at least ask if there was something wrong with the potatoes...
