Cantinho da Tété in Évora is a gastronomic gem run by a charming couple. Their warm welcome and their passion for cooking create a friendly and authentic atmosphere. The dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, reflect the rich culinary tradition of the Alentejo region. Every bite is a delight, with perfectly balanced flavors and careful presentations. The service is impeccable, with particular attention paid to every detail. Whether for a leisurely breakfast or a small lunch, Cantinho da Tété offers an unforgettable experience that embodies the essence of Portuguese hospitality. We went there 3 times! Perfect and fresh little meals. Don't miss out on tasting the gazpacho (Alentejo version)! Thanks again to Sandra and Riu for sharing local traditions and great discussions!

Discovered by chance looking for a place to eat lunch. Wow! A real gem. Everything was super delicious, the service was excellent and the gazpacho was a real hit on a hot summer day.

The cheese plate was way smaller than the photo posted in these reviews. The wine was stale and coffee was bad.

Really nothing exceptional. For the price of a daily menu in other cities in Portugal, you get a green salad with canned tuna. The place is pleasant, quiet and shady but the waiter doesn't know how to smile. Damage.

Beautifully located cafe with a scenic terrace perfect for soaking up the local atmosphere. Good coffee. Cakes seemed supermarket sourced.

A small corner of calm close to everything and far from tourist restaurants. You will find on this small square a natural shade and a tempting menu for a gourmet break and as a bonus of homemade with an extra smile ?

Wish we had had time to go back! Fantastic little square --- peaceful and away from tourists. We had a simple salad and gazpacho and drinks ---- very affordable and all excellent.
