Proof that humbler restaurants don't need great « chicities » to be good. A thousand times a tavern than this restaurant. I will not return, nor do I recommend it.

We arrived in Évora quite late and a table was made available after the indicated closing time. Great service and from starters, to a beautiful lamb stew and pork tusk with asparagus crumbs, to dessert, everything was wonderful.

We went on recommendation from Google. Typical food from Évora, I particularly liked the partridge preparation. The waiter was very helpful and explained some dishes that we were unfamiliar with. The restaurant is well maintained. We made a reservation. I just didn't like the place where we stayed, in the basement, I would have preferred to have stayed on the top floor (ground floor) but at the moment I didn't say my preference. Fair prices for the service, minus water at €4. The value of the prepared dishes is fair!????and the egg sweets, recommended by the attendant, were really worth discovering!

This restaurant is a must try. The service was impeccable, polite, very nice and fast. The food was absolutely gorgeous, tasty and very well prepared. The starters were absolutely delicious. The cod carpaccio with capers, the Serpa cheese, the roasted peppers and the octupus salad were divine. The main dishes were gorgeous, my roasted lamb shank was exquisite, as were all the remaining mains.

When it arrives at the table, there are some starter options already on it, which you can refuse without any problems, but I thought it was cool to be able to see the dishes ready. The food is very tasty and I thought the whole experience was worth the above average value.

Winner of culinary awards for several years and very deserved. When you arrive at the table there is already a suggestion for a cover with slices of black pork, cheese and vegetables, but you can refuse and choose something else from the menu. The main dish is well served for one person, we suggest the black pork tenderloin and cod. The desserts are typical of Alentejo and if the names are unknown, the waiter will gladly clarify.

Very disappointing, I came many times as a child with my father and grandfather. This time the food was not reasonable, and the waiter who served us was extremely rude. I don't recommend it, above all, because in Évora there are much better restaurants.
