A very good café ☕️! The recommended cake, the chess cake, is extremely delicious. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Great price! I highly recommend a visit!

I came to this establishment at 7:10pm, asked for a toast and was told that I could not get it since they were closing in 20min. (They lied about the closing time)The place says online that it closes at 20:00pm . One of the employees said they didn’t have bread and the other said they had already cleaned everything for the next day (40min before closing). Would not recommend

Today, 06/22/2024, I went to Cafetería gema where I was poorly served by the blonde attendant, and who asked me to speak louder to place my order where they were all at the counter laughing and being sarcastic, I placed my order but I was very poorly serviced, a shame for the poor service as it is in a tourist square where people come from all over...

Amazing place for a quick bite, coffee or beer with a cigarette. They have sitting inside. Also plenty of spaces in their outside terrace. Gives an amazing view of Praca de Geraldo. I had a coffee with pastel de nata. The service ladies were amazing. Even though I couldn't speak proper Portuguese but they were cooperative. I am not sure about the wheelchair access inside of the restaurant but you can definitely sit outside. Also, I think they offer takeaways. And they do both card and cash payments.

Well, the tables are dirty and sticky, the café is much tastier, and the pastries are also better around the corner. No recommendation.

You can only pay by Portuguese credit card. Incredible for a place in the center.

As Évora is a tourist spot in Portugal, this pastry shop, unfortunately, leaves a little to be desired. Basic pastry. Queijada de Évora, which would be a key product, without a disappointing flavor.
