Quite a find to feel lucky about. They have a very well thought out menu, because they cover all styles and it is difficult for you not to find something that suits your palate. The duck dish was amazing, and the kids can enjoy the eggs with cold cuts. But the best of their menu is hidden in the desserts. Their cheesecake pudding is a wonder to visit if you pass through Evora. Totally recommended and the staff is a very close and friendly team.

On our trip from Algarve to Lisbon, we decided to take a slight detour & head to the Alentejo region to try their highly regarded black pork. Initially we planned to go to another restaurant and after a 2 hour drive, we were dismayed to find that closed—on a Wednesday at 2:10PM even though it was supped to be opened per Google. This was a HOT day in Évora (102 F) & the kids were hungry so we frantically searched Google to see which restaurants were still opened and had good reviews. We found Lombardo & decided to give it a try. Boy were we glad we found a gem! The food was delicious! We had the seared scallops, black pork neck, black pork cheeks and mushroom rice! Service good, helpful & welcoming! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Family-owned business with delicious food, great service, and a romantic ambiance. All the food was good, but the highlights were the tuna and the grilled goat cheese. The tuna steak was so fresh, it literally melted in my mouth. You also have to try the grilled goat cheese with honey and walnuts. After visiting this place, I can confidently confirm that the food in Alentejo is special.

Excellent restaurant with friendly and polite staff. The food was excellent, there are dietary options for those with intolerance and the portions were very reasonable. Nice atmosphere and most clientele were locals.
Dietary restrictions: We are lactose intolerant and no issues whatsoever and there was even a vegan dessert available which was the best I've had in a long time.
