The place is intimate and inviting. The options proposed were very interesting and unique, with lots of vegetable, mushrooms, vegan cheese, tofu, beans. The chef was quite creative and made us something new. Overall it was a great experience.

Nice dish with only veggies. Chef was a bit too intimate to my taste. Came along 6 times to confirm he was the master. Relax chef! Your style is great, no need to overdo it!

Every vegan option was pretty much lightly cooked slop, and super expensive for what you got

The owner took the time to detail the menu and what was vegan. I had a lentil soup and delicious Laotian curry. Recommend. Must make a reservation ahead

Amazing food and an amazing experience! The chef came to our table and was thorough when explaining each dish to us. The presentation was also impeccable and it was by far one of the culinary highlights of our trip to Portugal. The seasoned mushrooms, pear salad, and pork cheek / filet duet were all personal favorites!

Wonderful little treasure! Food was the best we had in Portugal to date ( we’ve been here a week)! Chef came out to explain their farm to table food (which was delicious and beautifully presented)! Their Nepalese sous chef created perfectly flavored curries: we had the eggplant appetizer and mushroom soup and beet salad to start; which were perfectly crafted! Great vegan options! Had their house red (so good we had to buy some bottles as take away). Definitely a fantastic find! Highly recommended!

The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. I had the best mushroom soup of my life. The beet lavender salad was unique and the pork chops were incredible. The chef came to tell us the menu himself and spoke of the value of farm to table. We brought out toddler and he was a handful so they gave him a tiny car to play with so we could eat our food. All around perfect food and experience!

My favorite restaurant in Portugal

Every time I’m in Évora I make a stop here. It’s absolutely amazing food and the chef is a delight!

I’ve had a variety of menu items, and I have loved all of them.

I once told the chef that I was trying to like tomatoes by trying them more and he added several tomato options to my dish in different forms to my dish. He really goes above and beyond for people

The chef is an artist and the owner clearly loves creating a delicious experience for his diners. Farm to table, we watched the farmer bring in his vegetables.

The restaurant was half empty - but we weren't accepted without a reservation. Was it the shorts??? Sad.

The food is indescribable, a true experience! Each dish has an explosion of flavors, the presentation is beautiful, the explanation of the dishes... everything is excellent! The service from the chef and waitress was also very friendly and attentive! The decor is not "instagrammable" and honestly it doesn't need to be, because the quality of the experience is remarkable! We came 8 years ago and when we returned today, we remembered everything - and we will be back a third time! Congratulations to the chef :)

Vegetarian options: A good amount of vegetarian options

Kid-friendliness: There is no kids area but the treatment with children is very affectionate and attentive. We were offered a simpler dish (kid friendly lol) but it wasn't necessary, the children tried everything and ate very well.
