Pleasant and friendly service, who explains all dishes in detail (with a joke). The food was delicious, the dessert and the drinks too! Lamb, steak and local desserts. Recommended!

What a wonderful find in the small city of Evora! João and the staff at Trovador were attentive, informative and passionate about the food they present. The menu did not do justice to the variety and creativity of the kitchen.. the surprises were worth it! Three of us had the Iberian black pork, each with a different "migas" (coriander, olives, tomato!)We also had a side dish of the apple puree. One had a rice dish with clams and prawns. Dessert was a grilled pineapple with honey and cinnamon. Everything was DELICIOUS. The quality of the meal and service were a highlight of our visit. Make a reservation so that you don't miss out!
