Good surprise!
We were all surprised by the experience and how good each dish was. Both the spaghetti for the children and the fried cod dish, the black pork as a starter and the grilled black pork dish la bacalhau à brás, everything was exceptional!

In a nice alleyway. Fast serve and they accommodate us even though we were a party of 13 with 7 children. The food was good, we all loved what we have eaten. The red wine was hot, but since we had a nice time, we didn’t care.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, really and the spaghetti bolognese was great for kids.

Restaurant unfortunately recommended by our hotel, we chose the grilled black pork. What a desappointment ! Undetermined pieces, too thin, too salty, served with chips!!!! and 3 tomato salad leaves.... No better than a highway restaurant, and again we are nice.... Absolutely avoid.

We were in Evora for a day and spontaneously stopped at this restaurant because we actually liked the menu. Unfortunately, this is a typical tourist rip-off restaurant. After two of the wines we ordered were not available, another one was brought to us after a long wait. Not a problem for us, the rest would have been fine.
The service itself was very inattentive, but okay.
However, the food really wasn't good for the price. My friend ordered a Portuguese steak sandwich, which was extremely dry and the fries were soggy. The original bread was also not there at the time.
I ordered the "Beef Wellington", which you already have a certain idea of what it should look like. I got the same piece of meat as my friend, covered with canned mushrooms and ready-made puff pastry. That was very disappointing.
I would advise avoiding this restaurant.

From the service, to the friendly atmosphere, to the incredible unique dishes of Évora, it is without a doubt a perfect experience.
The quality and price exceeds all alternatives, without a doubt the best place to have a memorable family meal.
Congratulations to all the staff, this is the second year that my family and I have chosen this restaurant and it will continue to be a choice.
Congratulations!!!

The truth is that the wait was what I liked...perhaps because there were fewer of us until it was full.
Nice terrace. They served us well.

Looked good. Lots of people, which is always a good sign but food was "just ok" and the service was "just ok". O'well ... Perhaps we just came on a bad day.?

Pricey but dull. Magret de canard in raspberry sauce is the meat of an unfortunate duck (presumably) with separate raspberry jam. Impatient service.

The service provided by the employee was terrible, with a total lack of friendliness. The Gomes de Sá Cod and the Portuguese Pork were a huge disappointment. The cod was excessively seasoned with ground black pepper, probably to disguise the lack of freshness, leaving your mouth burning. The meat was extremely dry, fried, and clearly frozen and reheated. The octopus salad seemed to be several days old, evidenced by the condition of the coriander, and had too much vinegar.
Only the terrace was pleasant. I ordered a glass of Vinho Verde and paid 4 euros for half a glass, each dish cost 20 euros, and the octopus salad was around 10 euros. A total exaggeration considering the quality of the food. The bread was hard and the olives were completely flavorless.
In short, a huge DISAPPOINTMENT.

Unfortunately, poor quality food. Potatoes full of oil, with a strange flavor. Burnt flour… There will be better options.

The environment itself is pleasant. However, everything from the service to the food was disappointing. Firstly, the service was very unfriendly, giving the impression that “they didn’t want to serve” any more customers. There were several choices that, after a few (long) minutes, we were informed were not available. Then, the food. Terrible. We started with the entrances and didn't go any further. The average broken eggs, without salt, were what got away with it best (but it doesn't justify the €15). The mushrooms - “house expertise” were raw, poorly cooked and with a so-called special sauce, which consisted of olive oil, garlic and parsley. The farinheira, of poor quality, was toasted on the outside and raw on the inside. The bread - as a starter - was very hard and semi-frozen. In short, a disappointment and a terrible calling card for what is one of the best regions in the country in terms of gastronomy. I couldn't recommend it less.
