If you have a car, don't stay in the center and come to Tasquinha, it is worth it, the service is excellent and the food is very good.
Excellent restaurant, food cooked to perfection (we ate Octopus and Beef Cheeks). Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Just like the previous reviewer, my partner and I showed up desperately hungry around 3 pm. We were trying to eat somewhere inside the city walls of Evora, but parking was impossible. So, we stumbled upon this restaurant on the outskirts of town. We assume the kind man serving us was the owner. Even with his limited English, he walked us through the daily offerings and we decided on the octopus salad to start, grilled pork (w/ homemade potato chips) and sardines. The food was simple, yet delicious!

Desperately hungry I dropped there at nearly 4pm. Despite being already closing, they looked at me and made me some of the most unbelievably delicious freshly made omelette with shrimps (look at this size!!!). I finished it when the staff was having there own lunch. So grateful for there hospitality and absolutely gorgeous meal
