I just didn't understand the method of placing the order, after several tables were occupied, on the terrace, a lady came and asked all the tables what their orders were, it's strange ? and it takes longer It's a shame it's not Petfrendly in the dining room, because it's no favor on the terrace, we're very hot with an elderly person.

They present it as traditional alentejano food and have a menu with many Alentejo dishes, but then you ask what is available I they mention only dishes you can literally find anywhere in the world. I do not recommend if you are looking for Alentejo typical food. You will not find it here.

Stopped here by chance for lunch. 4 of us had the most wonderful meals. One omelette (at least 3 eggs), one pork and clam stew ( so tender) and 2 purslane soup with potatoes and cheese and a poached egg(divine). Family run (I think). Just a perfect lunch. Atmosphere? Well we were in a town square!
