We traveled to Lisbon from the states. We are used to alright Sushi and fair service. What we received was great food and very personal service. What we weren’t expecting was the great value. Paul and Cathy were amazing. This is a must try place you won’t be disappointed. We ate there twice in 12 days.

Absolutely divine lunch! ? We chose the Asian Festival menu for lunch (all-you-can-eat food for €18.90/person without drink). Includes soup, starters, hot dishes and sushi. Shrimp Kamed Ma Muang ? ?️ was our dish of choice!

Unfortunately, my experience with Taberna do Sushi has been consistently disappointing, especially when it comes to customer service and online order management.
I have been going to the restaurant for many years but in the last 3 years the service has been a disappointment, the service in the restaurant is slow and the staff changes often and some of them leave something to be desired. But the biggest problem is online orders, previously it was the delay in home delivery. Due to these difficulties, I decided to start placing orders online, but collect them directly from the restaurant. On the old ordering platform, there was a notable incident: after placing my order, I was waiting for the confirmation call, as usual, which never arrived. As I was surprised by the delay, I called the restaurant and was surprised to learn that there was no order registered. I had to prove the existence of the order with a confirmation email, and only then did the employee actually tell me that there was an error in the system. He asked me to wait another 30 minutes, and in total, I waited 1h30 until I received my food. The most frustrating thing was the lack of a sincere apology or any type of compensation for the inconvenience. As a long-time customer, I overlooked the situation, but the disappointment was great.
However, today, when using the new online platform, I placed the order and made the payment and received a confirmation email, but the platform continued to indicate that the restaurant had not confirmed the order. With the history, I called the restaurant and was informed, in a non-committal manner, that they were not open today due to an unforeseen event. When I informed that I had already made the payment, I received a completely indifferent response: "Don't worry girl, they will refund the money". More than an hour later, I received an email that the refund would take 10 days. This type of error and lack of consideration are unacceptable. The lack of apology or any type of satisfaction for the inconvenience is a reflection of a total lack of respect for the customer.
Despite being a long-time customer and having already had good experiences at the restaurant on some in-person visits, the repetition of serious failures in the online ordering service and the lack of an adequate and respectful response from customer service are unacceptable. Taberna do Sushi urgently needs to review its processes and better train its team to ensure that incidents like these do not happen again and that customers are treated with due respect and consideration. I certainly won't be returning.

I think the space is beautiful. It's one of the few places I like to go to for both lunch and dinner. It has good service, and in terms of food, I like everything I've tried (salads, sushi, pasta).
In terms of sushi, in my opinion it is one of the best in the area and the only place where I eat miso soup :)

We requested the Asia Sushi Festival, where you can order soup, starter, wok and sushi. Everything was wonderful! The flavor really is refined and differentiated, where we can really perceive the flavor enhancement in all the dishes. We were really surprised. Oh, we can't forget the salted caramel dessert (like a petit gateau). It was too divine
