Service was terrible, very rude to us all night and tried to out wait us as to get a tip instead of giving us a change. Manager gave out to staff infront of us

We just came across a culinary gem in Faro. Excellent value for money, but also incredible service. Full plates with great taste. I recommend 100%.

Very good restaurant and attentive staff. However, one of us was sick after eating shrimp, which explains this rating.

Very Portuguese restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff, especially João. We ordered mixed fish grills, which were very well served, and excellent shrimp omelettes. But to highlight the professionalism of the employees.

Nice place, there is a garden at the back which can be completely shaded. The staff is professional and efficient. The kitchen is good. Maybe a little oily depending on the dish chosen. Everything seems fresh and made on site.
To recommend. This is not a “tourist trap” establishment.

Great restaurant. Seen from the street, nothing special. There is a small, idyllic garden hidden further back. The food is highly recommended, from the simple salad to the fish specialties, simply delicious. The service also does a good job.

Really good food and friendly staff. There was a missunderstanding with one of our orders but it was replaced and everithing was fine. I would come back here. There is more on the menu I would like to try ?

Don’t bother here - go to Escama round the corner for real Portuguese fish. Not only did they bring the wrong order which was €6 more expensive, I had to pay full price for the meal, which was dreadful. The codfish was hard, tasteless and smothered in oil. Extremely overpriced and poor service - shame to have eaten this on my last night.

Fatal, I spent €170
I ordered a crab.
They brought him to me alive on a platter for me to see.
A scam, they brought me another one, which was on display of fish and cooked from days ago, a scam.
We went for dinner all the 5 of us and we had a great experience. It's a traditional Portuguese restaurant that serves wholesome food in an environment full of character. I had the Bacalhao Dourado (also known as Bacalhao a Bras) and It was the best I had in Portugal on this trip. Their prices are also very reasonable. Absolutely recommended.

I honestly don't understand why this lovely restaurant has only 4 stars when, compared with other restaurants in Faro with a higher rating, it is way superior.
The food is very good and tasty, the fish was definitely fresh, the service was outstanding and the overall atmosphere is very nice and genuine.
The interior room is highly decorated with the typical Portuguese azulejos and the patio to the back is just a beauty.
I would recommend choosing to eat there if you want to be seated outdoor, rather than having your meal on the street.
