We haven't been able to have any dinner, we arrived at half past nine and they said that at half past ten they would close the kitchen but the woman who was serving told us that she didn't want to feed us because she wanted to leave before her shift so we had to to March. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

We arrived at 9:30 p.m., and they refused to serve us when the place closed at 10:30 p.m. We understand that if we arrive at 10:15 p.m., they won't work for us, but arriving an hour early we don't understand. Furthermore, the waitress who served us was very rude.

Typical popular restaurant, that is to say noisy and with waiting… quite pleasant welcome and decent cuisine nothing more… terrace in front of the Faro mercado.
I discovered the place through a birthday party. What seemed like a classic restaurant turned out to be an excellent surprise. The staff is wonderful, super attentive (which is a real treat, here in the Algarve, where a genuine smile from those who serve us becomes increasingly difficult to find), the monkfish rice was served perfectly and in generous portions, the red wine served in a jug was fabulous, and the white wine sangria was delicious. Although we were a large group, nothing was missing on the table during the hours we were there. I highly recommend it. Ah... If you prefer to have a snack instead of lunch or dinner, I recommend you consider a plate of the wonderful snails prepared on site. The best in the Algarve!

The reservation went wrong. They didn't reserve the table... The service was also bad. It took a long time because they first served a table of 10 people who arrived after us, who were only 4 people. However, the food was of adequate quality and quantity for the price.

I can’t rate the food because I didn’t get that far. But my instincts were correct about this area hating outsiders. Staff was rude bc we couldn’t speak Portuguese. We walked in and were ignored for 10 min like we didn’t even exist. Ended up just walking out. Avoid this place and this area. Unless you’re a glutton for hurt feelings
