We just had a drink here first couple of times and watched the football, wish we had realised earlier how good food was, best sardines in 8 days, meat dishes very good as is the wine lots of locals too so no more to say

Bit outside the city centre. Lovely place family run place with great value. Grilled meat dishes for only 8 euro’s. Portuguese family’s and old portuguese men reading the newspaper, then you know its good! And the homemade fries are so good!

My husband is Portuguese, but we live in the United States. He told me the food tasted like he was at grandma's house. I can't begin to tell you how good this place is. Skip all the other restaurants downtown Faro if you are looking for Portuguese food. (If you are the kind of person that doesn't understand that fish dishes come with fishbones, this place isn't for you. And that is okay too.)

The garlic skate is indeed delicious, the grilled sea bream hearty and the dessert (egg roll) tasty. The terrace is pleasant, the service a little nonchalant but who speaks French. The good reviews on this restaurant are deserved, we do not regret our choice.
