First time at a michelin star restaurant. I was not very impressed. The restaurant is nice, the staff are friendly, food average for the price, very small portions and i can only describe my main course arrived in what i could only call a metal dogs bowl. the worst part was when we ordered a bottle of wine and we were not allowed to keep it on our table, we had to look at the bottle of wine on another table a few feet away and wait for one of the wine waiters to see how much wine...
What a wonderful meal. We left Check-in for our last evening in Faro, where we had eaten well every day of our stay. However, this was the highlight. Beautiful plates that celebrated the ingredients rather than smothering them in other flavours. The starters were particularly delicious, and we loved the menu - it was difficult to choose! Nice atmosphere sitting outside. The service team really is well organised and they all play their roll in this dinner experience. There isn't a menu, but the a la card is with some interesting options. The food was well made and with lots of tast.
