Be prepared to wait a bit. Talk to the man in the window while you wait and choose your fish. The food is really good, fish doesn’t get better than that. I had a really good experience with service as well.

Today we were really disappointed for the first time in 34 years.
We actually love the deliciously prepared rustic food, the nice service and the good price-performance ratio.
However, since the restaurant was sold (this year), everything feels like it has changed.
Everything is much more expensive, the food was dry and grilled for too long and unfortunately the service was much better.
It's such a shame because we love the restaurant and it was actually a regular restaurant for us.
We are really sad about this development!

Een lokaal restaurant waar je lunch kan eten. Een fijne sfeer waar een mix van toeristen en lokale mensen komen. We hebben er fijn en lekker gegeten, waar ondanks de drukte de sfeer goed is. Een aanrader.

The last two visits to this restaurant were terrible, the first one I accepted is normal when the previous service is good. I can no longer accept this last one, waiting time 1.10am sitting at the table waiting to eat, that is, I arrived at 12.15am sitting at the table until approx 1.30pm: to my surprise cold food, thankfully we have a temperature above 25 degrees,

I don't know what's going on with the restaurant that from one moment to the next there was a drop in quality of service.

This is a restaurant that I like, without pretensions, without fuss but which leaves you with an immense feeling of pleasure when you leave.
On the N125, this restaurant offers high quality grilled meats at very reasonable prices.
Certainly the atmosphere is very family, the reason why it is the restaurant of the natives, plan for a little wait if you have not reserved.
For more peace and quiet, sit in the bar to the left of the entrance and the wonderful Lina will take care of you like a mother takes care of her children.
The food is exceptional and generous.
The fresh fries are excellent.
A decor based on old wine and oil presses will transport you back 100 years.
I highly recommend this establishment.
Please note, only open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years and with the new management it was a huge disappointment. High prices and smaller doses. Maybe that's why there are so many fewer people.
I don't see a great future.....

“Come back Chico Zé, you’re forgiven”
Since the change of management, the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired in addition to the prices having increased.
A regular customer for 20 years, unfortunately I'm not considering returning, the 2 times I've been here this year I'm not convinced (dried sardines and homemade jam that tastes like burnt).
