Our party of 4 visited on a Friday night in the height of summer at 8pm with no reservation. The restaurant was extremely busy, including a large birthday party group, but the staff found us a table and were very welcoming. The menu had something for everyone and was a different offering from most other restaurants on the ilha. I had the black risotto with scallops, which was perfect in every way. Two others in our group had seabass, which was overcooked and dry, unfortunately, and the fourth member of our group (gluten free) had chicken, which came with chips and salad and looked very appealing. We also had bread, olives, carrots, a 2 litre jug of sparkling sangria (red berries), a large beer, and a delicious 'real' lemonade and the bill came to EUR 108. Considering the location, the attentiveness of the staff, the restaurant surroundings, the ease of parking on this very busy ilha and the quality of the food and drink, I felt this was value for money.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free
Parking: The restaurant is far enough down the ilha that parking is easier than nearer the bridge. We visited in the evening so beach goers were leaving and the ilha was emptying out a bit.

Bad choice if you choose the vegetarian options. Uninspired dishes that look more like a larger portion of garnish. As a 'main course' a plate of white rice with some pieces of vegetables. That's all it is. There is a restaurant nearby with much better choices and a menu that is more contemporary. Other than that, just a nice location and friendly staff, but that's all.

A place with a heavenly view. An excellent meal, I have never tasted sea bream so good and well accompanied. The staff was efficient. Even the music was nice!
Food here was really tasty and cheap. Location is also wonderful, children could play on the beach in front. Unfortunately they had forgotten a sandwich, but it arrived quickly after we reported it.

In the Algarve, you should preferably eat fish. The place is ideal for this type of dishes. We loved the landscape and the surroundings. No repairs, expensive but very good.
