I give two stars because the food is delicious. But, as soon as you are looking at the menu, they bring you bread, olives and cheese, all at a cost of €3.5 per cheese without asking if we wanted it. After they brought us the appetizer, they told us that the cod we had ordered was going to take 40 minutes, which seems excessive to me for a fresh fish and that they should give this information before placing the order. Also be careful when paying since they want to overcharge you for things.

Unfortunately the experience was not good as the food was not good and the doses were tiny, they were not individual as indicated by the waiter, they were micro doses. The razor clam rice was overcooked and only tasted like tomato and fat and the razor clam was full of sand. Regarding the octopus, the lagareiro brought 3 small octopus tentacles and 4 potatoes. Regarding dessert, the Algarvian tart, despite having carob, figs and almonds, only tasted like carob. All this without mentioning the price, which is prohibitive. Finally, it is a restaurant not to return to.

The only place in the Portimão center zone near the port open at 5pm for all the late tourist like us. Great place to enjoy some good sea food like Sardinhas or Bacalhau à brás, the waiters were very nice to us.
The food at Forte e Feio was fantastic. We didn't speak any Portuguese and we went to the restaurant at an odd hour, even so the staff was super helpful and friendly.
We have had a wonderful and tasty meal at this beautiful place.
