Afterwards, they had not yet brought us the food, we complained twice, giving us time for them to give us a response and everything was evasive, finally and only when faced with the threat of leaving the table, they brought us what we ordered. The rice with octopus was good, the rice and seafood stew was quite weak, ribs and sardines were good, obviously we no longer ordered coffee or dessert. I do not recommend.

FATAL. I don't give it 0 stars, because you can't. 1 hour and 35 minutes waiting for the food, we have had to request it on several occasions. They take us for fools, according to them rice takes time.... and Sardines??? Have they gone fishing for them??? I do not recommend it, disastrous attention. We have not been able to order 1 more bottle of water, they have not attended to us. The sardines and rice with octopus, good. The rice with regular seafood, the rice half undone and with pieces of shells, the rice didn't taste like anything. My recommendation: Find another place. The attention from the disastrous waitress???

After ordering the dishes we had to wait more than 1 hour, the order had not arrived in the kitchen and, far from being honest, they lied to us for 45 minutes saying that the rice takes time to cook, when surrounding tables have eaten what same long before. At the final threat to leave, we were told to wait 10 more minutes and the food would come out. In total 1 hour and 40 waiting to eat some pretty good sardines and stale rice with pieces of mussel shell. Very bad experience ?

A fairly spacious place, both the living room and the terrace. The menu is extensive, we took it to share since we don't eat too much, and another drink and dessert as an extra, they didn't have any problem with sharing the menu. The food was quite delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and beautiful.

Food made with out love really sums it up, starters of sardine pate came from a pre packed tub! Not freshly made. Main course of squid came out uncooked with an array of vegetables which were cold, tasteless and some what unappetising, didn't eat a quarter of it. Restaurant wasn't interested. It was a table of five of us and no one was happy with the meal. Lots of better restaurants locally.

I had dinner at Taverna Modesto. Ordered a small salad and Seafood Rice. The service was very bad. The salad was served and I had to ask for oil and vinegar. I was given an empty bottle of oil. 5 waiters looking at the tables and laughing among them leaving dirty dishes on the tables. A waiter dressed with shorts that covered less skin than an underwear (probably that's the Tavern attraction?). The Seafood rice was a watery tasteless dish with seafood of doubt quality. The only positive note of my experience is the amazing smell of Frangipani flowers.
