After waking up early, getting ready and travelling to Faro Airport is stressful enough To walk into a (allegedly) Irish Bar and asking for the breakfast menu, then being rudely and in a condescending manner “Breakfast stops at 10:30, look over there, choose off the other menu “ WTF I looked at my phone it was 10:32am How utterly ridiculous, the attitude of the staff was unacceptable The staff have clearly never been to an Irish establishment, the only good thing about this place is the memorabilia on the walls.

Like some other people posting reviews I was surprised how many were so negative. The only complaint I could make is that they don't have intolerances like gluten on the menu. I found the staff helpful even though they were very busy the evening we were there. The prices are typical of what you would expect in an airport restaurant.

Super bock cheaper than a pint of bitter at Manchester airport but the Mexican burger was poor. Not helped by it being standing for a while as they’d given us the wrong numbered pager!

Stopped for breakfast . Wish I had read the reviews before we chose to eat here . The food was at best warm certain items cold . The staff were absolutely down right rude and seem to go out of the way to be unhelpful. Myself and my partner are little less mobile than most we both walk with the aid of sticks so wanted a little assistance in taking the food to the table but even a simple request was met with a hostile response.. will definitely not be using this place again

Very rude staff,1 girl really sulky,pulling faces should not be in a job like this. Unsure what language they were speaking to each other in behind the bar maybe Pakistani? However to customers they became Irish.

Visited today 23rd August for breakfast before our early flight home worst decision we ordered two full English breakfasts and two sausage sandwiches I also asked for one sandwich to have an egg aswell which they charged me an extra €2 for also ordered 4 hot drinks I tapped my card expecting it to come to €58 after adding up the price from the menu to then find out they had charged me €71.20 when I questioned why they had charged me over €13 more than what it should of been the man behind the bar became very rude and basically said I was wrong we were in a hurry before our flight so left it and put it down to a bad experience and when the food came out it was cold not worth the original €58 it should of been all the staff have a can't be bothered attitude and also seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to eat behind the bar then serve and touch customers cups after without washing there hands absolute joke of a place and clearing take advantage of customers

Very disappointed with service. Elderly Portuguese gentleman served me. Ordered 1/2 chicken - price in menu €17.50. He insisted it is €22. His colleague then pointed out there is also a €17.50 as well as €22 but was too late to change my transaction. No apology. I asked for potatoes not chips - he said no problem & when I received food it was chips. I asked to change to potatoes as he had promised. His reply was we only serve chips & again no apology. Unsure if there is a language interpretation problem here but very simple to be courteous and to apologies if someone is wrong. I am a regular traveller in Faro Airport & won't be going to Mulligans due to poor service.
Was served RAW chicken in my sand which today. Took it straight back to them and demanded a refund. Chicken was completely raw and uncooked, if I have food poisoning I will be taking this further.

Fake Irish, fake food, a few fake five star reviews to bump the score here too.Only place to get a drink pre flight. Other people's food looked so bad, like it was some kind of experiment to see what people will put up with.

Fake Irish bar with fake food and rude staff!Reviewing from the perspective of someone who has coeliac disease - there was nothing on the menu I could eat. Even their fries, plain roast chicken and jacket potatoes were labelled as gluten containing!In my 20+ years experience of living with this disease this happens because they cut corners by sourcing ready meals or frozen food with cheap ingredients and chemicals.The staff were all rude, disinterested and pointed me to the QR code on the wall. I came here last year and remembered there was also rude and abrupt staff member. It seems to be a prerequisite for employment here!Also, thanks to the moronic customer who waded in to the conversation by saying the place was incredible and it was my fault for having an allergy!?! Thank god we are miles ahead of this in the UK.Thankfully I had a more positive experience at Subway where they serve a gluten free sub and the staff were happy to provide guidance on suitable toppings. I’ll know exactly where to go when I am back next year.Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. Anyone who thinks the food is good here has really low standards and needs to reassess their life!
Dietary restrictions: Doesn’t cater very well for people with allergies! Staff are not equipped to deal with this in a humane way. Instead they just point at the QR code on the wall and walk away like you are less than worthy of custom.

Service was disgusting. Obviously, the staff only like serving men, as when I wanted to place my order, all the bar staff did was point to till and point to what he wanted me to order. Would not recommend this place to anyone other than men. I will admit that the drinks were cheap, but that is all that is all that it has got going for it

Service at the till was shocking, the guy on the till was still serving the customer before me on one till then started serving me on the opposite till, that is not service when you pay €38.00 for 2 breakfast and coffees!! Then they forgot one of my drinks because he was too busy moving onto the next customer! 1 cashier -> 1 customer! Fuming I was. Food was ok only Luke warm. Will never eat here again, rather a boots meal deal. Everything’s too rushed
