O Coreto is a charming restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the port of Faro. Guests are welcomed with excellent service and friendliness. The menu offers a variety of options, including a super crispy and tasty thin crust pizza, as well as a delicious vegetarian burger. The highlight is the refreshing apple Somersby drink with a dehydrated apple and cinnamon. Visitors can also enjoy delicious late macchiato coffees in the cozy and nice atmosphere.
The terrace facing the port is superb, and the cuisine is tasty and generous, with the paella being exceptional. The service, however, needs improvement, as there have been instances of forgotten dishes and less careful cocktails as the evening progresses. The prawns are much better than at fancier places in the region, and the pizza, although not authentic Italian, is still tasty and technically acceptable. The bar also offers great drinks, but the speed of service could be improved. At almost closing time, the staff, particularly Vitória, provided excellent service, patiently explaining the ice cream options and providing advice, all while offering a great view of Faro. The rest of the staff was equally friendly, creating a great overall experience.
