They didn't make the birthday cake as agreed, and they didn't tell the customer that they weren't going to make the cake that way. A person arrives at the pastry shop and they deliver the cake with nothing to do with it. If they didn't, they warned the customer to go to another pastry shop. What a lack of professionalism
