Totally recommended. We got there on a recommendation from a guy down the street and the truth is that the food is abundant and quite a lot. 4 people with beer, wine, 3 reactions, coffee, bread, olives and butter €50.Chapo!!!!
Went to Restaurant Calypso in Loulé this evening. Shared 2 carafes of house red wine (very drinkable) and a large bottled water along with couvert. I had black pork which was perfectly seasoned and for the life of me tasted like sirloin steak. My wife had piri piri chicken which is a Portuguese barbecue along with a great tomato and lettuce side salad. Both dishes came with wonderful fries and rice. 100% recommendable, we both ate for less than €20 and we couldn't finish the dishes they gave us (Bitoque and Bacalhao grelhado), the food takes time because it's homemade and because people kept coming and going with take-out orders.Better to go early, we arrived at 12:30 and there was only one free table left.
