Terrible service. An hour for the dishes to come.
AWESOME!!! August 10th, first customers to arrive at the restaurant - 6, including 2 children. 5 dishes arrived, we finished eating, in the meantime other customers arrived and sat down, ordered, were served, and the 6th dish was about to come to the table. Excuses came, the wrong dish arrived until, finally, we canceled the order. They were still suspicious and went through the trash looking for our order, to confirm that the mistake was ours.
Congratulations!!!! Never again!!!! TO RUN AWAY!!!!!

Actually popped in here as the grill next door was closed and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. Recommend the prego and steak 'portuguesa'. Delicious!

Good portuguese restaurant with flavorful food and relaxing environment.
- Food: Really flavorful. I strongly recommend the camarão à guilho (Guilho prawns), and the Caril de Camarão (Curry Prawns) is the best I have ever had.

Restaurant by the sea that only after we were seated and had already started ordering informed that there was NO fish for dinner, the starters only had bread. When I asked for a bottle of water, they replied that there was none. Several attempts were made to order and they had almost nothing.
We then ordered a Bitoque, a linguini with seafood and a carbonnara. When we received the dishes, the bitoque came with a sauce (Korr broth style) cold and the salad was two slices of tomato, the carbonnara came cold and with the scrambled egg and watery and the linguini was actually “spaghetti” pasta, it was still I asked for an extra dose of potatoes and they were cold.
We asked the waiter to pass the information on to the kitchen, but we did not receive any feedback.
In general, a place not to be repeated, with poor service and poorly prepared food.

We got there just before the kitchen opened, so had a drink while we waited.
Really friendly staff, very helpful, and had some banter with my 10yr old son.
Ordered our food, which was bloody lovely! Grilled seabass, small Sirloin, and Bife a Portuguesa... wow! The smells were amazing and flavours bursting!
The seabass was whole, and clearly very fresh. Flavoursome and came off of the bone so easily. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and tasted lovely.
My lads Sirloin was cooked perfectly, and melted in the mouth. Again, full of flavour.
We also tried a traditional Portuguese dessert (sorry, didn't catch the name) which was gorgeous.
Worth every penny (cent) of the €70 bill (including soft drinks)
We will definitely be returning!!

Have just returned today from Praia do Vau. We ended up eating every night in Paraiso do Vau restaurant as it was fabulous. From the food to the staff to the service and to the location, we couldn't fault anything. We tried many different dishes and everyone of them had a taste of more off them. Not to mention their homemade desserts, absolutely fabulous. Looking forward to returning next year. Happy New Year to all the staff!!
