Good food, not plentiful for the price. On the other hand, poor reception given that we were French. We were positioned in full sun under 35 degrees while we had free places in the shade, carefully saying “reserve” even though no one ever came.

Food is good quality and location is excellent. We stopped by for lunch and were not disappointed, the food was fresh and flavourful. Be aware that the pricing definitely reflects the location and the place gets busy at lunch time, even in low season.

The table (behind a glass screen overlooking the beach) and the view were outstanding but the food was actually inedible. The waiter tried to assure me that the chips were cooked in such hot fat that it killed the gluten, which, as any coeliac knows is totally untrue and dangerous. My prawn and avocado salad consisted of soggy old prawns which were already starting to disintegrate. Ate the avocado but had to leave the rest. My husband's chips were undercooked and floppy. This was our only bad meal in the whole of the Algarve
