Had a drink next door last night and noticed it had a lot of locals enjoying life. Tima said we should pop in. Opposite Hotel Eva the small bar has a good sized front patio. As the tables etc. were Estrella Damm adverts we ordered their beer. Got 7.2% Voll-Damm. Too strong for us. They had Super Bock etc.at normal strength for 2€ for 0.33l. They do a menu of the day for 8.5€. Meals ( fish or meat) generally 10€ or less.

Undoubtedly the worst restaurant I have eaten in Portugal... I ordered a hamburger I ended up with two steaks (of I don't know what recomposed meat) with in the middle a slice of tomato and a small slice of cheese and ham .... It was probably necessary to take the optional burger bun. The fries were no better...Not much effort also on reception and service.

Family run and patronised by locals. Great atmosphere and lunch menu is the best value in Faro. Situated near bus station, the lunch deal which includes bread n butter, coffee, a drink and choice of main from two which changed daily. Only €8.50. Huge portions.
