While walking through Faro we found this place, off the street with the most touristy restaurants. A very quiet and pleasant place with jazz music in the background. The food is very delicious and at a very good price. Without a doubt highly recommended if you visit Faro. Attached are photos of the tasty cod dish and a dish called picapau.

I expected more from this little restaurant. Externally it appears very simple and authentic. The service was a little slow but friendly, we waited more than half an hour for the dishes. The courses we chose were not that great: "golden tails" (a kind of omelette with cod, eggs, coriander and potatoes) and the mussels which, alas, we were unable to eat as they had a bad consistency and flavour, probably of poor quality and frozen. On the contrary, the fried calamari (very good) and the white sangria (really particular and full of fruit) earned the place some points.
