We came across the Vivmar during a walk along the Marina. It was a great experience. The setting is pleasant and the dishes delicious, the waiters and waitresses are very available and monitor their table well throughout the meal. This family business offers a good, more intimate and traditional setting than the other big restaurants in the marina.

Nice place, simple but well done decor. Less touristy than others.
The fish is good, the portions are generous and for once the side dish isn't the usual fries.

The best restaurant in Faro in my opinion, without frills but delicious, home-made cuisine, all fresh, of quality and delicious, to say the least, the totally homely and friendly staff. There are areas in Faro with many restaurants but with high prices for the quality they have.
