Codfish Tavern is an exemplary restaurant located in Fátima, just 1 km (10/15 min walk) from the sanctuary. The staff are attentive and efficient, providing a welcoming environment. The food is excellently presented, of excellent quality, and very tasty, with the cod specialties and octopus à lagareiro being particularly noteworthy. The restaurant has its own parking lots and a hotel next door, making it an ideal place for those who want to stay overnight in Fátima and enjoy a good meal. The portions are modest for starters but adequate for main courses, and the cod pastries deserve more attention. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers friendly service and honest prices.
