The nearby religious experience can make one hungry. We saw a little sign that says restaurante. We walked in and a little confused not to see any host. Moments later someone stands up from the table to greet us. It’s the owner. A Mom and pop place. He greets and seats us. No problem. Wife orders wine and I order a beer. Classic Portuguese restaurant excellent food and quick service low cost home cooking I would say to be used for any visits to the sanctuary, about 300 meters from the sanctuary parking lot
