“We are a French family who don't speak Portuguese and despite that we had a really great time.
The waiter was very very nice and thanks to him we managed to eat very well.
The portions are very generous, we didn't finish everything but shared with what we had left in the dishes.

“Although the owner didn’t speak English and we couldn’t see a menu, that didn’t stop us having an excellent lunch! We ate fish, local sausage and chips, all simple but cooked very well. The place is full of characters, nice and rustic with great service. Great spot by the river.“

“Spectacular treatment, attention and quality. We went for dinner, and the owner treated us and our little one spectacularly. YouThey made an incredible homemade burger (which they didn't have on the menu). Very good and secret cod too. “Authentic experience, nicest staff we met on our trip (now 6 days in), they didn't have the fish so we took grilled chicken, which had best price-quality. We paid €25 for 2 people, had some bread and olives to start with, grilled chicken with fries and tomato, chocolate mouse and pudding with caramel, plus plenty of wine. “Tasko da Adega in Fazendas de Almeirim was recommended to us as having creative cuisine that was different from the usual cuisine found in restaurants in a location like this. Opened at the end of 2021, within a traditional style, it hired chef Goncalo Reguinga at the end of 2023 and in a joint effort (with chef João Poeiras) they are introducing some new features to the menu, particularly in the starters.Nice room within the traditional register.
