Bacalhau no pão tradicional consisted of about three tablespoons of bacalhau and a few strips of red pepper and onion stuffed inside a loaf of bread the crust of which was so overbaked it was inedible. Rojões à portuguesa were overcooked pieces of pork meat with a few potatoes and a bowl of rice. No grelos as listed on the menu but a paltry salad of three pieces of tomato, onion and limp lettuce. Only told afterwards they ran out of grelos so substituted salad. Expensive wine by the glass.
