Delicious food. Excellent service. Friendly and “local” ambience. We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the grilled fish and vegetables — simple, no fuss, cuisine, that was absolutely delicious.
They served alcohol free beer which always gets bonus points in my book. Partner enjoyed a local Vinho Verde which she said was one of the best she’s ever had.
It felt like the staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome despite their limited English and our limited Portuguese. Felt like an authentic, local restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone looking for that kind of experience.
Dietary restrictions: We asked for food only cooked with olive oil and salt and they were happy to oblige.
Parking: Parking directly in front of church and directly opposite.
Kid-friendliness: A family with three kids was eating at the same time as us. They were accommodated with high-chairs and felt very welcome!

A simple and surprising restaurant, starting with the manager Manuel Fernando, who welcomes you and offers his best cuisine with all affection, he is never serious, he is never tired and always has a smile so that everyone is well, there you can taste some magnificent appetizers that he will give you at his whim and let you be guided by him... the alleira is the best in Portugal, the cod is 10, the octopus is 20 and if you like meat, it has many varieties, even picaña... and most of the cuisine is made in clay and in the oven, the wines... of all types and prices and to top it off the desserts to go up to heaven... and at your side... a team of hard-working people who work hard with him so that everything is perfect...
