Everything is great until you see the price. It is clear that being a touristy and posh place the prices are going to be more expensive but it seemed a bit excessive to us to go and have four things. I would not recommend it if someone comes to the area, before you have a lot of places with better quality and price. Of course, if your plan is to go have cocktails and relax, I think they are very delicious and the waiters' treatment is great, so if that is your plan, it is definitely your place.

We went here two times during our stay. The first time we were pleasantly surprised by the innovative and well-thought menu, followed by its high quality. They exceeded my and my hubby's expectations and the daily dish with tuna felt as tender as wagyu beef and just melted on the tongue. The second time we went there for drinks and a light snack, they delivered good quality drinks as expected.

Very very good, speechless, I'm a fan of good restaurants, and this one is definitely in the top 3! The staff was super attentive, the food was enough to eat and cry for more. I recommend it to anyone who comes to visit Ferragudo! Undoubtedly.

The problem is that they inflate their prices and charge you for things you don't ask for.
It's a restaurant scam. They try to scam foreigners.
I summarize:
They charge you 4 euros for water. They charged us almost 10 euros for an appetizer that we did not order. On the menu the prices are at 100g, you order one of those portions, expecting the same price as on the menu and they give you the portion they want for a price 3 times higher than what is on the menu.
We ordered some clams that were on the menu for 8.5 euros per 100 g, and they brought us a portion and charged us for 23 euros. The same with the prawns, on the menu they were for 13 and they gave us 5 prawns and charged us for almost 30.
It's not worth going if they inflate the prices in this way, because at A Guarda you eat those 2 dishes for 10 euros each and the quality is much better. And you don't spend 50 euros per diner.

The food is way better than I expected from a restaurant that looks like a disco. The fish was remarkably fresh and tastefully cooked, while the seafood was to a remarkable standard and the desserts were way better than I expected and by far the best I’ve tried this week. Only the music was too fast paced and too loud but the friendly staff and the view over the village compensated for this inconvenience. Overall I got great quality food for less than in other renown restaurants. This was a great revelation!

Absolutely Superb! Brothers Pedro & Joao have built a marvellous restaurant. Every dish we had was excellent. The service was outstanding and very friendly. Mariana was really great and we should add a special mention to the chefs as their dishes were superb. We look forward to going back soon!
