“In a street in Ferragudo, an incredible dinner on a summer night in August.
An excellent octopus salad for starters, well seasoned as expected.
Fantastic kebab of properly grilled squid and shrimp accompanied by fries and a generous salad. Very good black pork kebab.
The walnut pie for dessert was not appealing.
The service is affable, friendly and very efficient.
Velho Novo has a new customer here who hopes to become old by returning and recommending.“

“We were recommended to the O Barril from our hotel and TripAdvisor but that was fully booked due to the football games playing in the square so my partner and I discovered this hidden gem.
We tend to avoid the typical tourist restaurants catered more to the English as we are on holiday and want to try new things. This place was what we were after great food and service.
My partner had Portuguese steak and potato, which she loved so I had a tiny bit to try and it was really nice. I decided to order the same meal the night after but in O Barril..this was far from as nice.
The menu is a bit pricier that some of the other places to eat but we managed to get a table outside, and we were able to watch the sunset and thought it was really worth the price. Brilliant meal to start off our holiday.“

It's lovely to have music on in a restarant it brings good vibes
The best part of going to this restarant today with my family because I could get a lovely view of the boats on the sea moving across the sea and see the speed boats rushing along the sea
This restarant gets it's first 5 star rating for amazing and lovely staff lovely view of the sea wonderful music for a summer holiday very lovely food

This is one of the world's best restarants I have been to so far on my holiday in Portugal so far
I glad I chose this one today not because of lovely view of the sea and boats because also it's one that has music on so you can hear it
